Cursed Friends plot
"Scariest. Movie. Ever."
Mikayla, Erica, Josh and Andy played a game that predicted their future as children in 2002. Many years later, in their thirties, they get together on Halloween. After a reunion with lots of drinking, the friends discover that the prophesied stories are beginning to come true in disturbing ways. They must work together to help each other escape the savage fate that has turned their lives upside down - from having 100 children with their hometown layabout to leading a cult and marrying *NSYNC's Joey Fatone.

You would say in 2022 it couldn't get any worse, but this video proves the opposite. What a horrible movie. Everything is also hijacked with woke and the humor or horror is also far to find. It's that you can't give -5.

Remarkable mix of comedy, fantasy and horror that is mainly a victim of the overwhelming amount of intrusive jokes. The idea behind the film is much more impressive than its execution. Nevertheless, I was surprised beforehand that a channel like Comedy Central wanted to try a horror film, but after I saw the content of the film I could understand why. Actually, the film is at least 80% a comedy, but after a while the characters panic and start a circular succession of mediocre jokes and loud voices. This goes on for so long that the film ultimately leaves a tiring impression that cannot find a brake. That is not due to the actors, they all do it more than decent. I especially think that someone is missing to point them in the direction, because the film mainly lingers a lot and that distracts from a quite promising concept. It's a shame because I was looking forward to a smooth horror comedy, but Cursed Friends is not the best option within that.
