Cowgirl plot

Johanna "Paula" Jakobi has a dull life. She is married and her life consists of nothing but eating, sleeping and watching television. One day she encounters her great childhood sweetheart Max. Head over heels she decides to say goodbye to the boring life and leaves with Max for Hamburg. However, Max appears to have a lot of problems with the Hamburg underworld. Is the life full of chases by gangsters and corrupt cops really what Paula wants to lead?
