Corky of Gasoline Alley plot

Walt and Phyllis Wallet of Gasoline Alley welcome their oldest son Skeezix, his wife Nina and their children Chipper and Clovia after a long vacation. Skeezix is sad to learn that his business partner Wilmer has been drafted into the National Guard, forcing him to run their company 'The Fix-it Shop' with only assistant 'Rocky' Bobbie. When Skeezix's younger sister Judy Wallet goes to school one morning, she bumps into Elwood Martin. Elwood is the cousin of Corky's wife Hope Wallet. Walt Wallet then invites Elwood to stay with them.
