Coïncidences plot

Jean Ménétrier works as a secretary for a wealthy industrialist in the textile sector in the Lyon region. He is in love with Michele, Jean's daughter, while the girl is engaged to a professional soldier. In a defiant way, her cousin Françoise offers him a mysterious box with three magic orbs that bring love, happiness and death on command. But its owner will go crazy.
