"Let These Whooping Drug Store Cowboys Fill Your Laugh Prescription!"
Itinerant entertainers Tommy Tanner and Egbert G. Higginbothom are stranded in a small town in the Midwestern United States. They befriend "Mother" Talley, the kind and old owner of a nearly bankrupt drugstore. To prevent sneaky drug wholesaler Harry Waters from buying Mother Talley's drugstore for a ridiculously low price, Tommy and Egbert decide to help her get a thriving drugstore again. The duo introduce a soda fountain, a novelty corner, a bookstore and even a radio station in the drugstore.
