Campus Honeymoon plot

War veterans Bob Watson and Ricky Adams, and the Hughes twins (Skipper and Patricia), cannot register at Opalocka University until they can find suitable housing units on the school grounds. They therefore pretend to be married in order to be allocated the last two free housing units for married students. The girls would take one unit and the boys the other. Gossipy and busy Junior Ormsbee, nephew of unit administrators Bessie and Busby Ombsbee, finds out and threatens eviction. It becomes even more complex for the four students when a senator comes to visit the university and also the residential units.
