Bowling plot
Carhaix, Brittany. There is a peaceful little hospital there with an obstetrics department. We follow four friends: a midwife, a nurse, the hospital director and the owner of the local bowling alley. Through thick and thin they experience each other's problems, privately and with work, while having fun at the bowling alley. The problems worsen when the headmistress is ordered from above to clean up the loss-making nursing ward.
