I had a great time, and I think that's exactly what this film aims to do. I could not discover any further pretensions so quickly. Sure, the film pokes fun at Generation X, but that's mainly meant to be humorous, teasing, without commenting on it ostentatious.

I found the comedy aspect more interesting than the horror aspect. That last one was a bit cliché. Let your characters sneak around in the dark, panting and scared to death every now and then and you get the effect, but that is of course not very original.

I thought the humor was quite strong. Sometimes a bit over the top maybe, when they have some non-discussion again when they clearly should have different priorities, but secretly I thought that was funny. In particular, David (Pete Davidson - that guy has a great head) and Alice (Rachel Sennot) were very enjoyable.

I thought I recognized Van Reijn's theater background in the way in which characters were set up during group discussions. Nice detail. But maybe I was just imagining it. Well, that's why you go to the cinema, of course, to activate your imagination. So this film succeeded on several levels.
