Kati and her friend Jo dream of freedom and adventure, while lying in the nature of Dachau under the stars. The adventure of a school exchange to America awaits Kati, for which she must leave her great love Mike behind. Jo is still waiting for the great love, but he does have a loyal friend Rocky, who does not dare to admit that he is actually in love with her. When Kati finally gets permission for her exchange on her seventeenth birthday, the 'good time' can finally begin.
