Because Why plot

After five years, Alex returns to Montreal where he no longer feels at home. His ex-girlfriend has moved and his best friend is going abroad for six months. He is allowed to babysit his apartment and that's how he meets Alya, his friend's sweetheart. They live together for a while, but it doesn't click. He moves to a barracks, where the strangest people live. He is accepted into a family and he starts a relationship with Anne, the single mother of two bitches of children.
