Barbès, Little Algérie plot

Malek, a single man in his forties, has just moved to Montmartre and quickly welcomes his cousin Ryiad, who has just arrived from Algeria. Together they discover Barbès, the Algerian community’s neighbourhood that is very much alive despite the current health crisis. Through his encounters with local figures, Malek rediscovers a part of himself that he had buried and reconciles himself with his origins.
