Backstage Madness plot

A 70-year-old unnamed director still concocts all sorts of vivid and bizarre characters on an old-fashioned typewriter. This respected veteran knows a thing or two about tenderness and aesthetics. He's heard the word "stop" far too often while preparing an arthouse festival gem. A producer commissions the director to write something completely different, with all the enthusiastic investors playing an influential role.
