A Short History of Decay plot

Nathan Fisher is a 35-year-old Brooklyn-based writer who always seems to get in his way. When his girlfriend kicks him out of the house and his father has a stroke, he decides to go to Florida to take care of his parents. In their small beach house, Nathan struggles with his grief, his mother's Alzheimer's and his father. Nathan learns that the secrets of his parents' long, not always positive marriage have a lot to teach him.
