A Letter for Evie plot
Evie (Marsha Hunt) offers herself as a pen pal to John (Hume Cronyn), a soldier who fights at the front in Europe during World War II. John writes back, but signs with his friend's name. When he finally gets the chance to meet his pen pal, John discovers she's fallen for the man who wears his pseudonym. As the love triangle unfolds, friendships are tested and old rivalries resurface.
