A Change of Heart plot
"If you really want to know someone, try walking in their shoes...even if they are four inch heels!"
Hank is disappointed in his life and afraid of change. The city where he lives is increasingly open to people with a less traditional identity and Hank is not comfortable with that. When he has a heart attack, his life is saved with a heart transplant from a Puerto Rican drag queen. Hank feels that his views and attitudes are being tested by this and he is faced with a choice: either embrace the diversity in contemporary society or hold on to his skepticism.
