"Greatness comes at a cost."

'The Yellow Tie' follows the extraordinary life of Sergiu Celibidache, one of the most celebrated classical music conductors of the twentieth century. The unique artist, both revered and misunderstood, fled his home in Romania to pursue his dream of a career in music. In seventy years he visited all corners of the world and, among other things, had to survive the war in Germany. Celibidache had to fight against prejudice, compromise and commercialism to follow his dream and win the acceptance of those closest to him.
