The Most Reluctant Convert plot
The dramatic true story of CS Lewis's journey from committed atheist to a hesitant believer begins with his turbulent childhood. After losing his mother to cancer and estrangement from his father, a young CS Lewis finds life bleak and unhappy. His apprenticeship with the atheist William T. Kirkpatrick and his harrowing experiences in the Great War strengthen his advocacy of materialism until he befriends JRR Tolkien and Hugo Dyson. His fellow intellectuals—all Christians—challenge him to consider the logical, mythological, and literary arguments for Christianity. Lewis must make a life-changing choice: cling to materialism or give his life to Jesus Christ.
