"The life of the famous French writer Alexander Dumas"

Alexander Dumas was an author of more than four hundred novels, one hundred plays and many stories and articles. The man of diverse backgrounds, grandson of a black slave and a French marquis, and a son of a brave general of Napoleon, came to Paris in the 1820s. There he starts out as an absolute nobody, but manages to become successful through his inquisitiveness and self-assurance.
