Noriega: God's Favorite plot

"The story of Panamanian dictator, Manuel Noriega."

Noriega has risen from the poorest neighborhoods in Panama to become a general who has the president in his pocket. As a CIA informant, the United States leaves him alone, though he also has ties to the Colombian drug mafia and communist Fidel Castro. The Panama Canal is an important trade route and, for a fee, allows drug smugglers to have free passage. If the United States drops and charges him publicly, he can no longer count on the support of his friend, George Bush.
