Land of the Mustaches plot
"Land of the Mustaches" is an autobiographical story about a young girl growing up in the displaced persons camps with her mother and grandmother. This happened after World War II left them hungry and stateless, and her father disappeared into Stalin's infamous Gulag labor camps in Siberia, with only what he was wearing the day he was abducted. Two difficult paths run parallel until they finally converge into one story: the ultimate celebration of resilience and the human spirit.
