Emily plot
"The imagination behind Wuthering Heights."
Biography of the life of the English writer Emily Brontë. Born in 1818 in the town of Thornton, she is the middle of the three Brontë sisters, after Charlotte and before Anne. Their older two sisters died at a young age in 1825. As children, the sisters moved with their brother Branwell and their parents to Haworth, where their father Patrick held a position as a minister. This is also where the sisters' literary talent originated. Emily begins writing poetry and will later become known as the author of 'Wuthering Heights', a classic of English literature. We follow the journey to womanhood of a rebel and an outcast, one of the world's most famous, mysterious and provocative writers who will die too young of tuberculosis at the age of thirty.
