Elsinore plot

The actor Ian Charleson is fully devoted to the rehearsals of the play Hamlet at London's National Theatre. On a personal level, however, things are not going so well for him. The queer actor is battling AIDS and performs his character during what will be the final months of his life. Ultimately, he loses the fight at the age of barely 40.
