Vinny Pazienza is a dedicated boxer with a lot of perseverance, but that doesn't seem to be enough to claim a world title in his weight class. When his trainer gives up his faith in Vinny in front of the cameras, his career seems to come to a dead end. Vinny refuses to give up and with the help of his new coach Kevin Rooney makes a miraculous comeback. But that comeback comes to a cruel end.
