Aenne Burda: Die Wirtschaftswunderfrau plot

Contrary to Franz Burda's expectations, his wife has taken over the fashion publishing business and is negotiating the printing costs of their magazine. Thinking small is not her thing: Aenne wants to have 100,000 copies printed. She works a lot and struggles to pay her employees, but is all the more excited about the publication of the first edition. With the help of graphic artist Wilhelm Kemper, they ensure that different sizes of a pattern can be printed on a sheet, so that the booklet remains handy. Her enthusiasm is justified: the first issue sold out surprisingly quickly.
