Zô no Inai Dôbutsuen plot

The true story of 12-year-old Hide and his 6-year-old sister Miyoko, who visited the Tokyo Zoo in 1943 during World War II and saw that the elephants were gone. Because of the war, the Japanese government was afraid that dangerous animals would escape and cause damage. Therefore, these animals had to be euthanized. This is against the will of the people.
