Yuku et la Fleur de l'Himalaya plot
Yuku, the oldest child in a large family of mice, must guard the food supply. But she prefers to listen to her grandmother, a master storyteller with a wonderful ukulele. As the end of Grandma's life approaches, Yuku embarks on a musical quest for the eternally luminous Himalayan flower so that Grandma can take it with her on her "last journey."

A very sympathetic film.
Yuku is an infectiously musical, sweet and optimistic mouse. Turns every situation and meeting into a warm affair.
It's a wonderfully "small" movie with quite a "big" journey.
The graphic style, like one big fluently moving picture book, works very nicely.
My children also enjoyed it today in the film house!
