The all-powerful Monkey King once roamed between heaven and earth, but after angering the gods, he was locked in an ice cage deep in the mountains. 500 years later, a small village is attacked by monsters and a child flees into the mountains. Unwittingly, the child frees Monkey King from his curse. With the help of the child, he tries to save the village from the evil monsters.
