'Twas the Night before Christmas plot

During the Christmas season, the people and mice of a small town have their letters to Santa returned unannounced with the message that the town has been removed from Santa's delivery route due to a letter from someone in that town who insulted him by dismissing his existence. As Father Mouse confronts his cynical son Albert, the letter's writer, their human companions, a clockmaker and his family, try to win back Santa's favor.
