Tibet Inu Monogatari plot

The boy Jiantian has to leave Xian after the death of his mother and goes to live on the prairie in Tibet with his father. His father is a busy doctor who has decided to leave the city to become an important doctor for a small community in Tibet. To help his father, Jiantian must learn to herd sheep. While carrying out his newfound responsibility, he is rescued by a wandering golden-colored Tibetan mastiff. Jiantian and the big dog help each other adjust to their new environment.
