The Weird Kidz plot

Dug, Mel and Fatt, three twelve-year-old boys from a small desert suburb, try to find their way in life and puberty. Dug's older brother, Wyatt, takes them on a camping trip with his girlfriend Mary. They encounter a gas station attendant who tells them about the Night Child, an ancient creature that lives in the canyons and feeds on visitors. The campers soon discover that the creature may be more than a local legend.
