The Legend of Buddha plot

Prince Siddharth Gautama gives up worldly pleasures to understand the meaning of life. He leaves his kingdom and goes in search of redemption and to understand life and death. While living frugally and doing penance, he finds the truth under a tree in Bodh Gaya, where a divine light makes him realize the truth in every human being. He becomes Buddha, the Enlightened One.
