Baseball fan and future star Donald Duck enjoys listening to a World Series game on the radio and 'playing' the role of his favorite star Casey in his own backyard. Unfortunately, a melomaniac honeybee is just as happy to listen to a melodious symphony on the same radio and theatrically play the conductor, brandishing a match as a conductor's baton, instead of fertilizing his garden flowers.
