Sekai Meisaku Dôwa: Mori wa Ikiteiru plot
The orphaned girl Anja lives with a mean old woman and her daughter in a small house near the forest. On New Year's Eve, the Queen announces that she wants a snowdrop to be delivered to her by New Year's Day at the latest. As a reward, she offers a basket of gold coins. The old woman hears this news and sends Anja into the forest during a snow storm. The mission seems impossible because the snowdrop only blooms in the spring.
