My Dogs, JinJin and Akida plot

In 1983 South Korea, a teenage boy named Jaeyoung struggles with a strained relationship with his rather distant father and two dogs named Jinjin and Akida. It soon becomes apparent that Jaeyoung's father cares more for the two dogs than for his own son. In an effort to get his father's attention, Jaeyoung releases one of the dogs into the wild and this changes everything.
