Citroen Lisa collects singing seashells and longs to meet the one one day. Mandarin Maroc has fled his motherland for a new life in a better world. His ship sinks and as the only survivor he washes up on the beach. Soon he falls prey to slavery, the fate of every mandarin. It is Maroc's singing seashell that brings him and Lisa, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, together. However, due to their different origins, this love is impossible.
