Kono Sekai no Katasumi Ni plot
"Torn apart by war. Brought together by love."
The story is set in the province of Hiroshima before and during World War II. Suzu is central. She loves to draw and likes to tell fantasy stories to her younger sister Sumi. At the age of 18, Suzu is married off and goes to live with her new family in nearby Kure, where Hiroshima's naval port is located. She takes care of daily household tasks, such as taking care of her mother-in-law. Slowly but surely, the war invades the family's daily life.
