Pico the woodworm takes the journey of a lifetime in this story, based on the voyages of Christopher Columbus. Pico explains to Columbus that the Earth is not flat at all, but ... square! Well, such a woodworm knows a lot! As a reward, Pico can join Columbus on a voyage of discovery. Along the way, he meets the firefly Marilyn, whom he also falls in love with. Together they discover America, where they search for the secret of the hidden Golden Temple.
