Be Up to Date plot

Betty Boop sells hardware and household goods from her trailer in the mountains. She arrives at a village and the locals buy her items and use them for strange purposes; a woman uses a waffle iron to get a permanent wave in her hair, a man buys an outboard motor and hooks it up to a plow, and in the finale, Betty leads the town band while the members play their homemade instruments.
