Aya de Yopougon plot
Late 1970s, Ivory Coast. In Yopougon, a neighborhood in Abidjan, lives 19-year-old Aya, a serious girl who would rather stay at home to study than go out with her friends. Aya divides her time between school, her family and her two best friends: Adjoua and Bintou, who see chilling out as their main goal in life. Aya's quiet life changes drastically when she learns that her friend Adjoua is pregnant.
