A Gentleman's Gentleman plot
Mickey Mouse is lying in bed like a gentleman, getting his breakfast served to him by man's (and mouse's?) best friend, Pluto, like a gentleman. The next task is to get the newspaper, but also to pay with a coin for the vending machine, and those round things have a nasty habit of escaping a dog's teeth and bouncing down the sidewalk until they end up in the gutter.
