Unterwegs nach Atlantis plot
The Berlin archaeologist Bohmann hears from the Englishman Gray about the supposed rediscovery of the sunken Atlantis. Full of curiosity and hope for an adventure, the latter wants them both to set out immediately, but Bohman is warned of Gray's vigor. Bohmann nevertheless makes the journey and his goal is the Greek island of Othronus, which the Turks use as a military base. But in the border area between Greece and Turkey, he finds himself between the fronts of the two rival intelligence services and warring factions and is jailed on suspicion of espionage. First, the young Greek Elektra saves him from worse things and then the Turk Abu Markub saves his life, forcing him to wear an oriental costume and thereby protects him from certain death...
