The Science Adventures of Tom & Huck plot

"The Boys are Back with a Science Twist."

It's a summer of mischief for Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, and Becky Thatcher. There's some unrest in the woods, where Huck Finn's former friends have set bear traps all over the place in what appears to be a poaching plot. Becky and the girls are determined to collect all the traps or trip them, while also discussing politics. Tom is in trouble himself. He gets embroiled in a science argument with a local bully, agrees to a "sure bet," and loses Becky's precious watch.
