The Luckiest Girl in the World plot

Debutante Pat Duncan wants to marry amateur tennis player Percy Mayhew, who makes $150 a week selling insurance. However, her father, Campbell, is against the marriage but makes a deal with Pat. He doesn't want her to marry Percy until she can live in New York for a month on his salary.
