The Luck of Roaring Camp plot
"Greedy men and bold women clutching for gold...and love!"
The gold miners of Roaring Camp become foster fathers of a motherless child and call him "Luck". They promise each other that they will set aside some of the profits from the mines so that they can later offer Luck a carefree existence. But whenever gold is found, the money earned is wagered and lost in the gambling.
