The King's Case Note plot
"King by day, detective by night."
The Korean Joseon Dynasty is known for its political and social wars that give rise to a plethora of intrigue and crime. King Yejong makes a point of collecting evidence related to the criminal activities and solving the cases, in order to bring those responsible to justice. Meanwhile, a brilliant young man, Yi-Seo, is appointed Yejong's chronicler, keeping meticulous records of everything the king does. King Yejong immediately realizes that Yi-seo is the perfect helper for solving crimes. A strange rumor is spreading in Hanyang. King Yejong senses something isn't right and tries to uncover the truth with Yi-Seo.
