The Gold Retrievers plot

12-year-old Josh Peters' dog Bosco unearths a locket that could lead to a fortune in hidden gold belonging to the Conquistadors. Josh and the dog team up with the courageous Ana James to find this treasure in the hopes that they can use it to save their town and home. What they don't know is that the forest ahead is riddled with pitfalls and plagued by an ancient curse. Also, two thieves are on their trail in the endless maze of trees, to claim the treasure for themselves.
