On a Polynesian island, the boastful and corrupt pearl fisherman Bucko Larson sets out to take over the business of young Kehane, son of the island's chief. Larson and his friends hope to achieve this through the temptations of irresistible blonde saloon entertainer Ruby Taylor. But Kehane is actually in love with his childhood friend Malia. Larson thinks he has finally achieved his goal, but then Ruby feels a pang of conscience and that puts her life in danger.
