England, twelfth century. David Trent is a nobleman who forms a band of outlaws to fight his evil uncle Sir Edgar Bullard. Bullard has kidnapped Louise, the daughter of his rival Lord Markham. The outlaws, who consider Sherwood Forest their hideout, also stand up for young Roger Mowbray. After all, the evil regent Lord Hampton has usurped Mowbray's right to the throne.
