Sergil et le Dictateur plot

Inspector Sergil is assigned the task of protecting the dictator of Santa Juanita during his stay in France. But right from the start, during his train journey from Paris to Marseille, he is confronted with problems. The dictator has a lot of enemies who want to liquidate him and they don't want anyone to protect him. When Bijou, Sergil's betrothed, agrees to accompany the dictator, she is kidnapped. The kidnappers only want to free her if the inspector reveals the dictator's hiding place to them. But the dictator is gone and Sergil doesn't even know where he is.
