Pilot Bob Raymond comes to the rescue of endangered scientist Thomas Edmunds. Bob falls in love with his attractive daughter Mary. Edwards has designed an anti-gravity machine called 'Contragrav'. A band of bandits, led by the mysterious Mort Crome, sets out to possess the Contragrav. Bob wants to prevent that and Thomas Edmunds allows him to use his other invention, the super plane 'The Phantom'.
